Care Corner Family Service Centre (Woodlands) renders assistance to individuals and families facing family functioning and social functioning difficulties. Our neighborhood-based service centres located at various locations in Singapore’s heartlands, provide preventive, developmental and remedial social programmes that enable individuals and families from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds function more effectively within the community.
We adopt a practice approach that is systemic and community-centric. Our work also comprises of mobilising community resources and working with corporate and community partners alongside with individual and group volunteers.
Our Family Service Centres (‘FSCs’) attend to a wide and diverse range of presenting issues, some of which include poverty, homelessness, unemployment, healthcare concerns, addictions, single-parenting, juvenile delinquency, family violence and child developmental concerns.
